On 2 October, a small group of people from the Via Pacis Kenya Community visited the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison in Nairobi.

Nancy Owak, project leader, says: “During the meeting with the prisoners, we spoke to them about the Via Pacis charism, peace and reconciliation, and we felt that God was among us. He touched the hearts of the prisoners, giving them hope and peace. We were asked to come back again to speak again about reconciliation, not only to the prisoners but also to their families. The prison in Kenya needs us and we can help by bringing hope through our charism.”
