Goodbye

R. comes home for the last time. She has just returned from her mother’s new home to convince her to come back with her father, her and her brothers.
Unfortunately the mother does not want to hear reasons. R. is angry and sad: how can her mother be so selfish? She has decided to abandon her husband and her children and she has found another man with whom to have more children.
R. feels rejected by her own mother that should love her. Since her mother left, her father is very sad. And the worst part is that working together, he and mom could barely support the family. Now that the dad is alone, everything has become a nightmare and there is no money for anything.
The grandparents offered to help. They have been very good, but accepting this help means leaving home. It means setting off and arriving in Semirara which is so far away. The grandparents stay in Semirara. R. does not even know if she will be able to continue studying. The sisters say yes, they say they will help her with remote support. R. is not sure. Everything has become so difficult lately.
R. looks at her village for the last time and she greets it with tears: goodbye home, goodbye friends, goodbye mom.
