Aim

This project supports some students in their studies by the university of engineering in the city of Kumbakonam. The local bishop, who is referent for Via Pacis projects in Tamil Nadu, wants to help those young people in the diocese who are able and willing, but who, because of their economic conditions, can’t continuing the studies until the degree. When they will be qualified, the guys will be prepared not only for a job, but also to contribute to the improvement of the Indian society, attending the governative departments, promoting the fight against the poverty, searching more pacific relationships between the different religions and cultures, using their preparation as an example and a concrete help for the other poor students.
