Typhoon

L. had a beautiful life: she and her family lived in their hut along the beach. Every time she woke up she smelled the scent and song of the nearby sea. Dad worked on a boat and sometimes L. went with him to feel the sea supporting her.
L. she is a child, she has just finished the second grade of elementary school. She liked school very much: she learned many things and then she taught them to her mother and father.
Then there was the Typhoon. L. does not know very well what happened, she remembers the fear, the screams, the wind and then nothing.
She remembers so much pain. The hut and the boat were swept away. There was nothing left of their life. Mom and dad were crying. L. had thought they were sad and instead they were crying because they were all alive. Adults cry for strange things. After the typhoon they had to move. Dad is looking for a job and she cannot go to school anymore. She gets a little bored, she goes around asking rich people for change. She gets bored of looking for some way to eat. She gets cold at night sometime. But she is still with her mom and her dad and when she falls asleep she dreams of go back to school to learn many things to teach her parents again.
